Mr Lesley Padayachee, Director, Green Planet Holdings

Mr Strinyvasen Padayachee, better known as "Lesley", is a founding member of the Green Planet group of companies.

Lesley maintains that in both life and business the same principles of hard work, honesty and ethics are applicable. It is on these foundations that he has started building the Green Planet Group.

We at Green Planet have a vision that we will leave the world a little better than what it was when we entered it, having fun while we are at it!

Lesley has more than 20 years of technical experience in the building industry with practical on-site knowledge, which leads to delivering successful projects. Having been involved from draughting, design engineering, project management to onsite installation, Lesley's holistic approach to any project ensures that no facet is overlooked.

He is a Greenstar Accredited Professional which ensures that projects under the auspices Green Planet Holdings have a definite and lasting impact on the planet for good. 


Mr Gavin Gallant, Director, Green Planet Holdings

Mr Gavin Gallant is a construction cost consultant/surveyor with more than 20 years experience in the Southern African construction industry.
Mr Gallant honed his skills in general construction in the mechanical and petro chemical industries, aluminum window and door industry and moved on to mentor small construction companies.

He then joined a large QS-company where he worked on larger projects such as the reconstruction of the OR Tambo airport, Adcock Ingram Manufacturing plant, PDNA Head Office amongst others.

In Johannesburg he can proudly look at projects he was involved in such as the Sandton City Diamond Walk expansion project as well as the re-development of the Nelson Mandela Square project.

He is well versed in a broad spectrum of the construction/development industry amongst which ons finds retail areas, office space, pharmaceutical warehousing and manufacturing, hospitals, multi storey office parks and residential projects.

Mr Ismail Aden Rage, Director, Green Planet Tanzania

Mr Ismail Aden Rage is a retired member of parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania. He is an accomplished entrepreneur and his business acumen adds value to the team.

Mr David Pieterse, Director, Green Planet Holdings

Mr David Pieterse has been involved in property development for more than 25 years. He has built up extensive knowledge in all sectors of property development. He has worked on retail developments to residential developments with project budgets ranging from $200 million to as small as $1 million.

He has a passion for property development and understands the values of timelines and project budgets and endeavors to achieve the highest possible returns for clients and partners.

In the Green Planet group of companies his project management skills adds value to the various subsidiaries.


Eugene Retief, Financial Director, Green Planet Holdings

Mr Eugene Retief started out his career in property law and conveyancing. He moved into the finance field after 6 years. He has been analyzing the markets since 2008 to determine the best investment vehicles for personal and commercial wealth creation.

He is responsible for obtaining project finance from a variety of sources to finance projects of long-term infrastructure, industrial projects and public services. Through the Green Planet group of companies his goal is to improve infrastructure and create a better standard of living for the community.

Mr Mpho Ratshefola, Director, Green Planet Engineering

Mr Mpho Ratshefola has been in the engineering industry since 2006, and has extensive CAD experience. His engineering career has taken him throughout Southern Africa on a large variety of projects involving water and sanitary drainage, structural and civil engineering. His consulting engineering experience makes him a valued asset to the Green Planet group of companies.
